Inspired by the serene architecture of the Abdij van Roosenberg, the Roosenberg Acoustic Lamp combines soft lighting and sound absorption in one minimalist design. The felt panel reduces unwanted noise, while the integrated light source emits a warm and even glow. Made from recycled materials and fully demountable, the lamp is a sustainable and architectural ode to silence.

An Ode to Silence
The Abdij van Roosenberg served as the direct inspiration for this design. A monastery has traditionally been a place where silence is central, yet every sound reverberates through the often bare and non-absorbing spaces. The minimalist architecture and distinctive lamps of the abbey inspired an acoustic lighting object that brings together calmness, light, and sound absorption in one clear gesture.
Two Functions, One Form
The lamp emerges from the fusion of two archetypal forms: an acoustic panel and a light fixture. Both functions are reduced to their essence and united in one minimalist object. The felt surface absorbs sound, while the integrated light source spreads a soft and even glow. One clear gesture in which acoustics and light come together.
